Claudia Cisneros is an independent visual artist, writer and director. She works with study groups, data analysis, and group embodiment techniques. Her main interest is creating spaces for sensitive cognition and working toward the observation and perception of the body free from the violence imposed by representational machinery. Her works reveal the codependency between disembodied public visual narratives and the sensorial and intimate materiality of bodies. Her performance work has also generated a body of material work that includes drawing, sculpture, video, and installation.

Her practice is holistic and grows organically through research, spirituality, and the somatic.
