The 'Filters' series explores the passage of the voice through objects and organic matter, seeking to abstract it from detail to reveal its most primal, essential qualities.

In Filter [Coral] a group organizes itself into pairs to project its voice into the other's interior and vice versa. Sound is an agreement and is executed with gentleness and mutual trust; intuitively, the organ is chosen, the part where to place the voice, and where to receive it. The songs sung are those that emerge from memory; the lyrics become indecipherable due to the compression of the voice sealed against the body, generating a muffled, deep, and melodic sound. Even though the filtered voices become hums and whispers, the songs are never the same and the tempos are not timed, they are easily merged with each other every time, creating harmonies between them, floating abstractly among all recognizable things. A song made of many songs.
